The magic of Poetry sometimes lies in the thoughts of the Poet that provoke the mind to dig deeper into the words taking him to a different dimension. This marvelous and intriguing write has this power.
A very thought provoking poem. I concur with Shaun Cronick that this marvelous write is indeed a hard read. Great thoughts to ponder about. To my Poem List.
The first two striking lines depict wreckage that bring death and sadness.. Yes, a gentle wind can tame the harshness of the wild sea and one can attain calmness. Yet, these waves are just ephemeral and the waves of the sea can take us again.... wandering with the wind.
Another poem of great depth. Each and every line carries a very strong message.
Beautifully lugubrious with a subliminal sub text to decipher. Perhaps all (good) things come to those who wait or perhaps things change. Down to the reader to knuckle down, do the work, read between the lines and eventually decide for themselves. Thank you Soran for writing and a sharing and certainly a hard read to make me think, rightly or wrongly. Five stars and take care my friend.
Shaun Cronick my friend, talented poet You are right, life is an ocean, we do not know what will drift for us tomorrow. people tries everything he can to achieve the best, but the results are often decided by the destiny and fate for us. " Perhaps all (good) things come to those who wait or perhaps things change" . Many thanks for your kind and meaningful comment
you obviously understand the draw the ocean has on humans probably dating back to the first man who wandered and found himself by that eternal motion and sat down and watched the waves curl themselves on the shore to talk to his soul about the mysteries of the deep====you are so outstanding, Soran. top marks, of course!
The poets are those who contemplate at the ocean and inspired by it. They read the wrestles and secrets of life through the ocean and its waves. Really, the sea has a secret and an impact on the heart and feelings. Thank you Susan for your excellent reading and your beautiful comment.
Powerfull imagery Ashes of waves Crying of dolls sea's messages, war.... makes this poem special
wish you have enjoyed reading it, es you have pinted out the strength of imagery, thanks again for your amazing comment
Sorry for misspelling your name. It's my phone. I can't handle it well
Never mind, both of them are correct. For example, in Serbia they write Zoran, and in Norway they write Soren...afgarsto
It's beautifully melancholic. And the picture even worse. Thanks for scaring (sharing)
Exactly, this is a scream, can only be heard by those who suffer it, experience it, or live its minutes
From time to time the sea became calm like times of your contemplation or like: the quiet in the dust of the ends of wars/// excellent poetic depth expression Everything and everyone has past, present and future and infancy, youthfulness and old age waves danced over there now, has been calm the boat raised the rhythm of running over there now, has been calm now; all the past is history and the present is the time of reminiscent calmly
Certainly, this is what goes on behind the hidden meanings of the text, so let us wait for what is contained in the waves of life, sometimes we are left with no trick unless we surrender ourselves to the coincidences of tomorrow, perhaps it will send us good news.
A beautiful tribute to a wonderful Poet.
