The Watch Poem by ONElia AVElar

The Watch

Rating: 5.0

A silent witness,
With a serious gaze,
Its Swiss stern face,
Marking moments,
Counting sighs.
It ticks in passive-aggressive rhythm.

The dance of life unfolds—
Measured,
Appraised.

Stopped,
Lost,
Unwanted,
And yet, it watches.

Damn Swiss watch...
And your cousin, the calendar.
