The Warmth Of A Kiss Poem by Namita Rani Panda

When at tranquil dawn,
in deep quietude the Heaven
descends stealthily pouting his sun-lips
to carve a soft soothing kiss
on the bosom of the enticing Earth;
she blushes with coyness and secret mirth.
And lo! Everything at once turns crimson,
stars shyly hide themselves behind the
horizon,
a new day with a new hope opens,
gentle cool breeze blows with immense
jubilation
with birds praising the God's wonderful
creations
and the rooster with great gusto heralds a
new dawn.


When a mother with a heart swelled with
deep affection
marvelling visually her own creation
in her tender arms
and imprints a moist kiss
on his forehead so warm;
a flame of infinite pleasure so intense
flickers in his eyes
that keeps rolling in his heart
like the endless waves in the ocean.
An eternal sense of security fills his heart
that his mother will never part.
Kiss is truly a proof of pure
and permanent connection
between a mother and her creation.


When a loving lover cuddling and caressing
his lady love
smears her with warm loving kisses;
it's not merely the fire of perishable lust
but a testimony of perpetual pure love
that not only gives a sense so secure;
feeling for each other
that not merely unites two mouths
but enhances closeness
between two hearts of the lovers,
two souls together.
Hence kiss of a loving one
is always a kiss divine
that keeps us warmer
and makes our life sublime.
