The Wallaby And The Honey Bee Poem by michael Smajda

The Wallaby And The Honey Bee

There was a wallaby who did not want to be a wallaby
Who met a honey bee who did not want to be a honey bee.
The wallaby who did not want to be a wallaby
Ask the honey bee who did not want to be a honey bee
If it would want to be a wallaby instead of a honey bee?
The honey bee who did not want to be a honey bee
Said yes to the wallaby and then ask the wallaby
If it wanted to be a honey bee instead of a wallaby?
The wallaby who did not like being a wallaby
Answered yes and the wallaby, then, became a honey bee
And, in turn, the honey bee then became a wallaby.
Now, in time, the honey who became a wallaby
No longer wanted to be a wallaby
And the wallaby who became a honey bee
No longer wanted to be a honey bee.
So, the honey bee who did not want to be a wallaby
Met the wallaby who did not want to be honey bee
Then ask the wallaby who did not want to be a honey bee
If it wanted to return being a wallaby.
This honey bee replied yes to being again a wallaby
And the wallaby who did not like being a honey bee,
Likewise, wanted to return to being a honey bee.
So, it came to be the wallaby was again a wallaby
And the honey bee, returned to being a honey bee.
The moral to all this nonsense you see-
Be glad made you who you are.Tee! Hee! Tee! Hee!
