Release me from these shackles Lift the darkness off my soul Break open these binding chains Strip down this iron door Set free my captive spirit Let me see another sunrise! .......so touching and meaningful. A great philosophical poem is amazingly delineated. A life on hope for another sunrise... brilliantly put. Five stars.

" Stone walls do not a prison make, nor iron bars a cage." The real prison is in poverty, neglect, and the imprint they make on the psyche. This is a very powerful verse, Valsa.

When no stars, no moods and no light is seen this provokes thought to wonder in darkness. But darkness does not last for long time. This will be expelled by light and wisdom. Breaking the binding chains the bird will fly away. This poem is very interestingly penned.10

graphic and wonderful look at the down trodden...are we all so lucky not to live behind that door as so many orphans do...it makes a merry xmas a wailing song... thoughtful for you to write the wrongs in life...regards and a joyful xmas

Jailbird spends time in sorrow and sings, All I see is darkness No stars, no moon in my sky. Wonderful presentation. While the bird becomes free sings the essence of freedom and happiness. Beautiful poem really shared on.

A heartrending write. Very impressive. I loved the visual here - My mind is a nocturnal street Where dark memories wander - and very sorrowful here - Whom a ‘mother' begot And then conveniently forgot! - I can't imagine a mother doing this.

The wailing of a jailbird a great poem that narrates the suffering meted out on circumstances that was totally against the life itself and it is a heart felt emotional poem that created wonderfully realistic it seems. I likes it very much.
