The poet with a cold deep sigh exclaimed I see red flowers in this valley but where is the fragrance of roses instead I smell blood, only blood! The valley burst out into tears The echo of her cries broke the glaciers and there was blood only blood! - - - - - - - - -So poignantly depicted the pains and cries of Kashmir valley.
Yes, Kashmir the valley of flowers.. of red tulips- has now become a valley of blood! So sad! Great poem Akhtarji!
