I doubt verily whether I deserve all the good words you write about me. But reading has been my prime interest since childhood. Even now.

When I was working, I used to return home a little late from work, but never omitted to devote time for books. Used to read upto 1.00 O'clock in the morning, almost every day, before I go to sleep. Now I am retired and have all the time to spend with my books

I am not sure whether the eulogies you've showered on me are really due to me. But thank you. And deeply obliged.

Part 2 Thank you for reading through this story-poem, and marking your appreciation. I thought that I have to post the entire background and explanation on the Malayalam words so that poets of international community are able to understand the poem with more clarity. Thank you. Obliged.

A wonderful and gripping story that conveys a moral lesson in life. Sometimes the things we did in the past will come to us like a ghost. They reverberate and affect our life to teach us a lesson in life reminding us that there is God who watches us always.

The caste hierarchy and the resultant untouchability was a blot on india’s And Kerala’s Social system. It was prevalent all over India. And it was Gandhiji who spent a life time fighting against this malady. There were many hundreds of castes and a few hundreds of them were untouchable. There is a novel by the famous writer Premchand, named “Achhuut Kanya” (meaning, the untouchable girl) . Continued

Coming to this poem of " The Untouchable God" , i am so touched. A beautiful story so well narrated. You have taken a lot of effort to explain the Malayalam words. A marvellous poem, Unni.......10

Thank you, Geeta. For reading this poem and expressing your appreciation. As you have read in the poem, I have used the background of “untouchability “, to make a statement on HUMANITARIAN VALUES.” You are my Guru in this. Thank you Geeta.
