The Unseen Hero Poem by April Humason

The Unseen Hero

In the shadows, you always stood,
The butt of jokes, misunderstood.
A hero quietly playing their part,
Hidden beneath laughter and art.

Your cape may not shine so bright,
Yet, you're the one who sets things right.
With every jest and playful tease,
You mend the hearts, you bring the ease.

In jest, you bear the weight of fun,
A secret hero, never to shun.
With courage strong and spirit kind,
Your superpowers, they are entwined.

You laugh along with every jab,
While secretly, you heal and grab.
The broken hearts and troubled souls,
Your humor fills those empty holes.

Through laughter, you dispel the strife,
Your jokes bring hope to every life.
A hero in disguise you'll stay,
Forever lighting up our day.
