The Unnoticed ‘she' In Every Woman.. Poem by Dahlia (unblossomedyet)

She does it all … Yes, without a word she does it all….

She's the one who does everything for everyone with a smile on her face.
Her own ones marvel at her strength and praise her spirit.
But what goes unnoticed about this strong woman, is that even, she too has her moments of weakness.
The minutes that she manages to cascade from the world, she re-collects herself and even sheds a few drops when the weight of her life actually overwhelms her.


But then she does what she does best:
Pulls herself together, wipes away the tears and recomposes herself, and no one ever even notices a difference…. Its all the same! ! ! !
She's happy doing what she does and being who she is, but there are just those random fleeting moments where she wishes for once, someone would take charge of her and take care of her.


Truthfully, she feels weak and guilty for having those moments, but sometimes, it just gets difficult always being that unmoved rock, the strong woman that can do anything and be everything for others. But trust me ….She does it all……


Her entire life, she's been forced to be the way she is, so she just did what she had to do and never sought dependence from any quarter for what she could do herself.
So, when the weariness overtakes her, she quietly muses that she longs to be able to step back and be taken care of and loved unparallel.


She'll always remain that strong person, able to overcome all odds but even she needs rest-
Not referring anything that requires sleep, but the deeper soul recharging sort of respite.
So, she'll just smile and wistfully hope that one day, maybe she'll find that brave soul strong enough to be her equal and be her refuge when she needs it the most……A companion at heart.


But she's not going to expect it or believe the fantasy.. For all you know, dreams and fantasy hurts…..when broken!
Until that day, she'll keep doing what she does:
Living full-on, loving hard and being the strong woman who does it all.
