The Universe, It Is Weeping! Poem by Mohammad Younus

The universe, it is weepping!
The seven continents and
in the seven seas
all are weeping!
Because the children of God
in the whole universe
are suffering because of
bloody wars and genocides;
The sky, it too is shedding blood tears!
The angels residing the heaven
are again asking God,
What for have you created man?
They are perplexed and disgusted;
And in soliloquy say:
He is not that glorified Adam,
To whom Lord bid us to prostrate;
I'm ashamed to show my face to them
The world, it is weeping blood;
All the peace lovers have hidden
themselves in the burrows,
But I am one of those who hug peace;
I pray night and day for peace;
I am suffering man! I haven't lost
my hope in the re-emergence of peace
I will be reborn in love and peace, and
God will move my cradle;
My prayers for universal peace will be
granted by God,
Because He loves peace.
