The Universal Visitor Poem by Tony Adah

The Universal Visitor

Universal death whispers in low tones
To a groaning client
Little fire flicker from a dark hut
In darkness or in light
The visitor can see his host
No one cares
And even if they did
Little can be done
The old man is going.
