The serene silence of a monastery where the simple monks go about silently for their business and the silence only occasionally broken by the tolling of bells! There is a serene calm enveloping the whole poem! Enjoyed! !

I love this poem. It speaks of a time when peace was at the foremost of things. We have a monastery out in the country where I live. Silence is golden as the saying goes. Enjoyed this write. So soothing!
