Indeed A lovely poem.... I can so well relate to this..... I too have had the same feelings of disappointments with my orchid blooms... they stay longer any way. But after a season of exquisite blooming, we have to wait for another long period to see them blooming again! However you have ended the poem in a cheerful note! A sure 10

A poem on life and death- -Like tulip, very vibrant, full of life- - -Life always exists- - It makes its appearance again and again.Thanks for sharing this lovely poem.
What a VOLTA - that's Italian for the sudden change of meaning or attitude in the middle of a sonnet, and your VOLTA in stanzas 4-5 is as devastating as any I've encountered because you had created an image of beauty that struck me as eternal, not consciously but unconsciously, and so I felt your lament in the poem's second half in comp; eter sync with your emotions. You bravely console us with the new bloom the following spring, but the shock of the volta, of the loss can't be completely dispelled.

A Wonderful poem with Tulips blooming and drooping. I am very poor in gardening but i love the flowers blooming Here Tulips are blooming with fresh fragrance and in lovely colors. Loved reading each lines.
