The Truth Is Greater Than You Can Imagine Poem by Leon Moon

The Truth Is Greater Than You Can Imagine

The truth is greater than you can imagine.
The truth is greater than you can imagine.

Slowly unsealing the vacuum packed freedom,
Receding into the blank canvas weaving the black horizon
Lining the endless beyond within

The truth is greater than you can imagine.
The truth is greater than you can imagine.

Paradise lies beyond the skies of our minds,
A bond of love sinks and winds through the faceless tide, alighting the sunrise outlasting the end of time

The truth is greater than you can imagine.
The truth is greater than you can imagine.

To the heart of being
Forever beginning

You're more than anything — imagination's manifestations, revelation, sensations, thought-less exploration, salvation's renovation, instinctual innovations, obliteration in the subjective exaltation - creation, negation

Sweet altitude of nothing defying explanation
Alight in the ashes of expectation's cremation
Animating the shadows dancing on the interior
ceiling, revealing the elevations descending

Into the shapes we envision
Arriving without declaration
Circling the rim, shattering the horizon.
Broken glass glints, amber fuchsia's drip
Through the sun's crimson sieve grin, glazing
Over laughter of lifetimes long forgotten.
Drafts of empires glow rotten
Under a microscope left floating
On the wings of your frozen ocean

And the truth is greater than you can imagine.
And the truth is greater than you can imagine.
And the truth is greater than you can imagine.
And the truth is greater than you can imagine.

You're more than everything —
Melting in motion to dawn's distortion
The opalescent shadows of our loving
Escape on blades of light stolen by watchmen
Piercing stillness to an unanswerable question.
Etching the blueprints of a prison's foundation
Built so discretely, without invitation,
In the living room ghosts are sitting
Still with no time to count the falling
Leaves of autumn sinking, spiralling
Skinning the centre-fold medallion
Emanating outwards the geometry within
Spinning fortune with no desire to win

And the truth is greater than you can imagine.
And the truth is greater than you can imagine.
And the truth is greater than you can imagine.
And the truth is greater than you can imagine.

I know the smile on your face, will one day fade
Yet a split-second grave, the imprints you engrave
Will always stay, as if never indebted to the future's rays.
In ether interlaced through a timeless sound wave
Iris-cut stains, hourglass panes
Tie to change, on a loop replayed.
In spiralling veins beyond ice-struck veins
We remain in the cove of our own soul's pain, wandering alone together, again and again,
crowned king, queen in the patchwork symphonies of a world we made

In the heart of being

The truth is greater than you can imagine.
The truth is greater than you can imagine.
