The Truth Poem by Houda Boukassoula

The Truth

Rating: 4.0

Emptiness dwelled my heart
Sickness dwelled my body
I felt my soul nowhere
I looked for it everywhere
Forgetting to seek it within myself

I looked for help everywhere
I found relief nowhere
Forgetting to ask it from you

Without meaning to look for you
I started meeting you
Everywhere and nowhere
But never within myself

When your divine care
Sent a breeze of wisdom to my life
Eyes of my head looked inside me
The truth filled my heart emptiness
Certainty cured my sick body
I felt my soul everywhere

Settling within me
Rhyming with every part of this sphere
Waiting for the everlasting rest
