At the beginning he danced with flair
To the tune of the audience,
Painstakingly he aimed to please,
Each step and twirl brought joy with ease.
But as time passed, his rhythm grew bold
He danced for himself, with every move
Dancing more and more in his own style.
And more in the audience started dancing
To his tune, to please him,
More and more, day by day.
Culture! ! With the muse of the dance. Thanks for sharing this poem with us.
Beautiful poem. To be your own self is difficult but much more comforting.and appealing.
Really your allegorical and symbolic presentation using nice metaphor has made me wonder... Simple and spontaneous diction prove the power the poet possesses. Thanks. Sk Nurul Huda.
Curtailing consumptions the poor man saved money for the future. you teach us a lesson through this poem. do not dance to the tunes of others......... dance on your own accord......... a fine poem with a deep theme. tony
Isn't it amazing how when we begin to truly understand ourselves and exhibit the rhythm that is genuinely our own, how so many others dance with us to that same sound of music... the music of the soul... Well written and a delightful insight into the human endeavor of conscious awakening... Touche, Sir!
Each decade of our lives we are morphing: by our parents, society; eventually becoming more '' in tune '' to who we truly are. A wise poem on life.

How beautifully you have depicted trendsetting. Truly a culture develops in this way...first we have to please the audience but gradually we can make the audience dance to our tunes. It requires skill to mold people to your thinking.
