Wow. Very fascinating, intriguing, and indeed, thought-provoking! What an ode to Africa, what a tribute to her tragic history with bright hopefulness for a better future! I much appreciated this sketch of her, ....poor, downtrodden, crushed, abused, raped, and spoiled. And yet you dare not conclude there, but eagerly dream of a better day....if only. The fascination of your depiction is that it is seemingly a familiar perspective...a tree which the birds lodge in, from various parables in the Bible. I quite enjoyed this.
