The Toad Poem by Tony Adah

The Toad

The toad
Is a silent guy
But he has a bald head
And croaks only
When he is happy on the spouse's back

He has a warty back
But an immaculate white chest
And this is the colour of his heart
His limbs fore and hind are short
But his destiny can not
Be dashed to a frog
With longer limbs.
