The Tiger's Plea Poem by Rohan Bendre

The Tiger's Plea

Ferocious is my Nature.
I am a National Treasure.
Who am I? .
I am the Tiger.
Am I a National treasure? .
Ask yourself.
You will Spend a lumpsum to have a lumpsum to have a snap of me.Won't you? .
You will record it as a memory
But, are you up to the challenge? .
Where were you when my habitat was being destroyed? .
Where were you when i was exploited under the name of Environment? .
I Want your Presence
Explain your presence when i am tortured, exploited and even Poached for Avaricious reasons.
Isn't your primal duty to protect my habitat.
Is my Plea reaching the desired ear? .
Or am i barking up the Wrong tree? .
One of my friends was murdered by an irate mob.
Where is Justice? . Is it Sleeping? .
Under the name of Security Would you promote Animal cruelty? .
Who gave you right to murder my friend.
Who gave you authority? .
Wasn't the Act Sinful and Egregious? .
Words are lagging.
And you will visit my habitat and refer it as your participation.
You entertain yourself and when your help is direly required
you choose Evasion.
Strenghten the laws, seek proper guidance, Act deligently
several of the ways exist.
But should i rely on you.
Or are you still scared of giving a fight? .
