In a twinkling of that eye I lost my self and forgot who I am,
How lovely were the days when all traffics were jam!

I think third eye are the children who initially share love of the couple and when they are used to with sharing the scope of this sharing is widened. An amazing poem...........10

Drunk with love initially the lovers create a world exclusively for themselves admitting none! Love then acts as a kind of sedative making them insensitive to the world and the people around. But over the years, as their love matures, they feel the need of others too and include their friends and relatives also into the ken of their love! This, I believe is referred to in your poem as the 'opening of the third eye'! A great write!
