The Teacher Asked His Student Poem by ANJANDEV ROY

The teacher asked
His beloved student,
"Who is a poet? "
The student immediately replied,
"A poet is a person who writes poems, "
Hearing this, the great teacher smiled gently
And said to his dearest student,
"You are absolutely right,
But a poet is more than that..."
Then the eminent teacher continued
To describe the greatness of a poet in an endless way
And the student listened to him
With rapt attention.
