She was a teacher
South of the border
He was a Marine
There on orders

When he set his eyes upon her
That's when her eyes met his
He slowly walked up to her
Soon they shared a kiss

Three years they said their vows
Then headed north to the US
Together raising their family
Living the life that was the best

Forty six years later
Their love still holding strong
They knew all those years ago
Together was where they belonged
