Please tell me the emotional circumstances during which you wrote the poem. I can detect anger and hopelessness. Am I correct?

It is a spiritual poem, Doris, and it transcends beyond the mundane, materialistic world we live in. Thank you very much for reading my poem.

This poem reflect my feelings as well about who I am, my purpose at the end of my journey, which is finally, to know the essence of the flowers and not the physical flowers, long gone. This is truly who we are, our worship lingers long after we're gone, Let's continue making poems and we will not perish. Thank you for making me see your heart, Chandan. :)

Doris, what a precise comment you've made! Actually a time comes in our life when we strive to touch the highest level (cosmic) of love. Somebody can feel, somebody can't but the endeavor goes on.... Thank you so much for making such an inspiring comment on the poem. Chandan

A great metaphorical write. A love that has been lost can be nurtured and rekindled. Congratulations for having this poem chosen as POD.

to embrace the flower vase on the table, to pour water into it, without touching the flowers, inside.... - - - - - - - - Flowers we keep in a vase as they bring beauty, charm and fragrance inside the closed room.So are our beautiful memories inside our heart give us happiness during loneliness.

More questions than answers. Embracing the vessel that holds the fleeting beauty of flowers, to preserve them a little longer with water. But the beauty of the flowers is not to be touched. A length of time has passed. Age shows on the face. But the act to be performed transcends the earthly bounds. More questions than answers.

Actually it's not a compromise, rather searching Love and Beauty of life through sadness. It's searching more of core value of life rather than face value. Thank you for making a comment on the poem. Chandan

Very subtle arrangement... Love has withered, but the task to take care is still there.A very good metaphor.
