They strove and rocked in their altitudes
History laid in weight
In measurements of their heights
Humans by creation
Special in nature
Men and women that defined us
Who changed us for good
The prophets
The leaders
The philosophers
The teachers
The scientists
The fathers
The mothers
The followers
Men of destiny
Those who rode on their strength
But they were short, too
Even shorter
Or perhaps the shortest
Their strives and their destinies
Made them the tallest in life!
