We all know tress are alive and they have their own consciousness. Yet, reading this poem it feels as if the tree that you have been amidst, in dialogue with you comes more alive... Now, I am old And you are still here Holding my cherished Childhood memories... Brilliant.

Excellent poem about a tree where you were so attached in your childhood. Precious childhood memories, Mrs. Juan-Austin. As an you have gained other appreciation for this familiar tree. Why does PH not let it stay as I had written that correction? Every time PH put that word A D U L T away, I really don't understand. Thank you for your understanding and patience, Mrs. Juan-Austin

Outstanding poem. There can be no better ally than trees, they are our true friends.. Now, I am old And you are still here Holding my cherished Childhood memories Intact and alive In your rough barks That bear the prints Of my joys and pains In life.

This is a lovely poem on trees.... Nature's greatest gift to man! Their lush green foliage, their sturdy trunk, the flowers they produce, the fruits they give, the shade and shelter they offer...... innumerable are the benefits of trees! They brave the wind and rain and stay firmly rooted on Earth as a friend of man, purifying the air we breathe....! An apt and wonderful tribute! A 10
