The Tale Bearer Is Gone. Poem by Tony Adah

The Tale Bearer Is Gone.

The bearer of tales
Has nothing for sale
As quietude is the diadem the neighbourhood
Is wearing waiting in vain for falsehood
And the tale bearer is gone
Having brandished his horsetail
Over a burnfire and the odor is great
And the neighborhood is calm.
