The Sweet Night Poem by Anil Kumar Panda

The Sweet Night

Rating: 4.0

And the sweet night comes
With the moon shining bright
At the middle of the sky
The hungry owls give hoots
And from their holes towards
The valleys start to fly

And the sweet night comes
Bringing with it wind from the
Valley cloyed with essence
Of wild flowers that under
The star studded sky kiss each
Other and sway and dance

And the sweet night comes
Sprinkling dusts of sleep into
Lashes of beautiful eyes
The soft moon beam comes
Through sky light and falls on
The bed where she lies

COMMENTS OF THE POEM

When the night fields the bright moon and the night birds fly through the moonlight, the breeze spreads the fragrance of flowers.....the dust of sleep slowly will fall on to her eyelashes.. Wonderful imagery. Deserves top grading.
