Truly philosophical, dear Poet. The silent watcher keeps watching without batting an eyelid, while the superficial body keeps searching for external gratifications. In most cases, these contradictions exist. But the Mystic is different. He is never enamoured by the senses. He looks inwards and recognises the true self within. Thank you, Tony.....10
Wow this is philosophical and sublime in brill wording. Kudos for this lofty muse. Soo nice to read from your inking again, Pleez do write your thoughts/comment under my newest poem too titled, a tribute to every new poem
tony, hoping this finds you well in body, soul, and spirit. interesting to see this poem as i just finished a book titled my stroke of insight by jill bolte taylor, a brain scientist who had, then recovered from, a rare type of stroke at age thirty-seven. do you know it? part of what she experiences relates to this poem. there are interviews and talks with her online if you'd want to check them out. -glen
The superficial self is wholly taken up by the world of senses and the constant messages she gets from the sense-world...........nice poetic expression. A beautiful poem brilliantly presented.10 that she knows or understands nothing of the relationship of the real self and the unattainable Object of all thought....... T
All problems of the world may be solved if majority of the men recognize their superficial self and act in accordance with its directives. A great philosophic thought nicely penned.
