The Sun Will Shine Tomorrow Poem by G. Akanji Olaniyi

The Sun Will Shine Tomorrow

Even in the threat of an ugly darkness
Allayed only by the sprinkled stars in fineness
Even in the fear of a dreadful nightmare
Averted only in soothing spiritual care
Even in the purported poison of a last dinner
Avoided only by the choice of another finer
Even in the imminent falling of dagger
Attempt stopped only divinely to prevent danger
This life was never on a borrow
The sun will shine tomorrow
