The Sun Shines Poem by Hans Raj Sharma

The Sun Shines

Life is a love
Jilt and separation
Wherever you go
Whatever you do
Can't help feeling
Feeling like-
Love, jilt and separation.

Present is a gift-
Who doesn't like
Like to give and take
From loved ones
A noble idea thought
Thought about last minute
To part with from-
Something pure personal
On a function or a festival
At tea time, or a breakfast
At lunch or a dinner
Or may in helplessness.

As such, the winter gives
A way to the summer
Darkness to the light
The sun to the moon
The night to the day
The death to re-birth.

But, some say no rebirth
Make hay-
Hay while the sun shines.
