As she stepped outside,
The sun chose a cloud to hide,
reluctant of showing himself
in front of her shining eyes.
But he couldn't resist for long,
peeping now and then,
in awe of her brilliant smile.
He tried competing with a
beautiful display at sunset
but as she walked back home at twilight
her magnificence again
put him to shame.
But he finally gave a little smile
before going down for the night
when she looked at him lovingly
and blew a kiss of goodnight.
