The Sun Poem by Hans Raj Sharma

The Sun

Somewhere a ray of light
In the pitch-dark mid-night
Taking all from darkness to light.

A right combination of lights
True blend of lights and colours
Adding it to the ambience of life.

Ancient and modern care and cure
Even, a single drop of beauty means
Since shining the sun, moon and stars.

Having met the first divine light-
Onward each day, is the evidence
Therefore, there exists the divine heat.

Moments and memories yet remain
On to centuries longer together
Like the one, we call it the sun.
