The Struggle Of The Thrones Poem by G. Akanji Olaniyi

The Struggle Of The Thrones

When could it be the best time moving thrones?
Will it be merely for building pleasure cones?
Well! These days you can use your phones
Do not forget they already built thrones
All from labours of dried bones
Wasted strength from illegal zones
Sweats flowed, yet the land atones
We see, hovering above, several drones
Carrying tinted truth, they do the job of drones
Many days they go round and round, it atones
Even searching aimlessly on forbidden zones
These days they have relieved the labour of tired bones
Those that laid the foundations of huge thrones
They go freely all around, now, carrying phones
And live in edifices designed like beautiful cones
Whether in a new style or not, it continues, the struggle of the thrones
