The little star in the sky asks,
'We have played enough
With the celestial beings up here.
Can we play now with the kids
Down on the earth, mom? '
'No', She says
They are asleep and will be up
When you fall asleep
It goes on like this
And so you can never play with them
Hm! But the purest of them
Will be lifted as a star like you
And will join you to play
You were all human kids,
Purest of the folk there
You reached here
Through the ladder of death
A beautifully rendered tale of heavenly bodies.5 stars,
A well crafted poem with stunning imagery. I concur with Robert's comment; a nice children's poem and adults' as well.
A lovely poem...a message to the stars of the sky about the super stars of the Earth...5*****
