The Staircase Of Dreams Poem by Ella Sutherland

The Staircase Of Dreams

When life cascades down the staircase of dreams,
And and your caught in the web of capitalistic screams,
When what you thought was precious has moulded at the seams.

So tell me what's the cost of being free?

I don't want to buy myself a better quality of misery
