A very fun poem, and nice rhyming. I enjoyed it a lot. I used to live in an urban area with cold winters and the squirrels did get into EVERY thing. Now I live in a rural area where the squirrels have lots of natural food, and mild winters. These squirrels seem much happier and have nice round bellies. Thank you Valsa and Hazel. Valsa I removed the last two lines just before I saw your preference for: 'But add a squirt of chilli, I'll run around all frisky'. Do you think I was right to remove these lines altogether?
Another option for the last two lines: 'But add a squirt of chilli, I'll prance about quite silly.'
A warm and charming tale written with amazing rhyming and I really enjoyed this entertaining write!
