Mary Oliver in her book 'Upstream' wrote a short story concerning her encounter with a spider in such a thoughtful manner as you've presented us here. If you get a chance read her story, it is, as your poetry, beautiful in the scope of it's incredible vision.
I love how you open the veil into the 'other' world, the 'thin-places' as the mystics say, and give us cause to look, ponder, and see one of the mysteries of the Cosmos. Brilliant, beautiful and sublime.
Sandra, you have indeed added mystery and glamour to the trap set by the spider's web. And so very timely!
