The Song Of Spring Poem by Soumili Karmakar

The Song Of Spring

The winter begins within a breath of beauty
Everything around seems to unfurl the sail of diversity.
A story of a season that echoes
To find you when you are low,
Winter exists in glimpses of snowflakes and cold windy country roads.
Across the ocean at the first light
Is it enough to rise with the breeze and be alright?
Noble pursuits may bring a wholesome and a kinder sea
Sustaining life is a forever composition existing in the heart of Sensitivity.
I believe in the magic of possibilities and of hope,
An ailing wound found its remedy
When gentleness patiently waited outside the door.

Let the sail guide the wanderer to its awaited destination,
Let the sunset remind the Earth
That the distant clouds are travellers of boundless admiration.
No less than human souls,
Finding magic in its own rhythm
And sprinkling the joy of wandering cheerfulness
At times when the snow melts and epiphanies of my sky are bound to accept
That letting go is what we find in repeated notes.
Your name in my heart, the rebirth
That keeps reason and love
To find an aligning miracle
Perhaps on the window of a passing car.
It might have been a divinely sight,
It is about a soul purely loved by the sky.
Yet, revelation is the helping hand
Closely associated with my life
To me, old dreams are like a dear friend
Cupping the golden rays on your face
And never plucking the flowers
That are blooming just as wonderful as sunsets.

Now, I've realized no wind can slow down my thoughts,
But it fills an empty space to cheer a withered home where nurture is taught.
How often do we see through things?
How often do we wonder what if spring could sing?
Possibly, the merry little sparrows are heading towards your home
I met them whenever my thoughts fled to a familiar space
My wings have always known.
Uncertainty as such must have been in my lines,
The agony of the desert is longing for a drop of life.
The smiling colour of the sunlight is a recurring rhyme
Bequeathed with the responsibility to soar higher than to climb.

Though fading in the dusk
The colours in sky are often blue and grey
The pathway from where wind carries mist and air
The sky inspires those whose secrets are found in the words of the seer
Where some revered poets have said, "A woman's heart is a deep blue ocean of secrets with streaming tears."
I've pondered many a times upon this thought
And all that came was about a love that rose and remembered the relation of a knot.
Unifying everything that many of us had lost,
Concocted by the heavens the prism of life was the cost.
Surrounded by stars in twinkling of the soft eyes,
It is light and life that are divine residents of the wise.
On this path, I discovered a heart
Uncertain as it was then to posterity,
However, faithfulness of the stars taught this heart to beat like the evening tide comforting thousands of coral vaults.

Sharing the tale of a sunflower in the season of spring
Continuing with the heavenly myths weaved by strings.
Beginning with the bruises and joys of past ages
And promises and struggles of every stages
Anticipating the fall of the petals one by one
The rain confides to spring
The earthly tale of mortal beings as floating with the clouds in run.
