The Solo Drive Poem by Kishore Kumar Das

The Solo Drive

Rain has just stopped
I was riding a bike
under the aegis of a flamboyant evening
there was no wind
there was no noise
tall trees on both sides
welcoming my journey
silence reigning supreme
green leaves staring at me
smiling and exchanging pleasantries
Who is really solitary
in this beautiful earth?
my mind filled with euphoria
that was the wisdom
born at that moment
if you see the trees
at no point of time
feel lonely
let your thoughts
be witnessed by the green leaves
refined and endorsed
by our green friends
trees are the treasure trove
take their help when you require.
