I learned this poem back in the 60s in Mt Temple National School. Co Westmeath. I’m now 70 years old and have the same feeling as I did back then when I heard it for the first time.☘️
I like it cuz...im gonna do it for my english day competion so...nervous😖😔
My favourite poem of all time. I first read it at school a100 years ago, and for some unknown reason l just thought of it. Just had to look it up to ' read again. Still gives me the same feeling..
Same for me. I just had to look it up, many times over the years when I think of this poem., It takes me right back to grade 4 where I heard this poem for the first time. Today some children were chasing a rabbit and it was running for its like under the tree in my front garden where it lives along with some babies.
...........oh I hope he finds the bunny rabbit....just today I saw the smallest little bunny all alone....and I wondered where was his mother....hope he made it home ok....beautiful poem...
