You are the sky,
Vast and endless,
Stretching beyond sight,
Holding all our questions.
Your presence
Is morning light,
Softly waking hearts
We did not know were asleep.
Clouds gather,
Storms arrive,
Yet you remain
Calm, unwavering,
A horizon we can trust.
Your voice
Is wind across mountains,
Carrying wisdom
To valleys of doubt.
We reach,
Trying to touch your height,
But you embrace us
From everywhere,
Above, around, within.
Every lesson
Is a ray of sun,
Piercing through shadow,
Filling corners
We could not see alone.
You watch us fall,
Watch us rise,
Silent as the stars,
Patient as the night,
Infinite as space itself.
Sometimes we cannot see you,
Yet we feel your light,
A warmth in the chest,
A quiet fire
Guiding each step.
You hold storms in your hands,
Rain in your eyes,
Thunder in your voice,
Yet never break us,
Never leave us behind.
Your expanse
Gives room to grow,
Room to wander,
Room to become ourselves,
Safe beneath your gaze.
Years pass,
We scatter like birds,
But your sky remains,
Arching above,
Filling memory with light,
Echoing in hearts,
Endless, luminous,
Our teacher,
The sky above our hearts.
