Seld Pride destroys everything! ! ! ! Thanks for sharing this poem with us.
You are right that anger diminishes intellect and sallows our sense. Even if it burns our all good virtues. In Shrimad Bhagavad Geeta Chapter - 2, Shloka No 63 it has been well illustrated...Krodhat bhavati samihah, samohat srmuti bibhramah / Smruti bhransad buddhinasho buddhinasat pranashyati. At the end it can take to death. A marvelous poem with lofty theme.10
Ego The cruel prison cell of common sense Humanity lives there as a jailbird guilty
Hatred leads to anger and uncontrolled anger numbs our senses and finally decimates our reason completely! With this man stoops to the level of a wild beast and indulges in all sorts of wickedness, marring all his good deeds and killing his soul! From this state, he can never hope for a regeneration. Profound thoughts are unveiled through this poem
Only phoenix can reincarnate From ashes; Human souls cannot. Better then the sentiment the greatest philosophers and religious icons, anger is the cancer of the souls light. A great poem!
A wonderful poetic resume' of the worst within us! If only more people would realize the destructive effects of hate and anger, a better place this would be. You can't redeem your soul once burned by destructive hate, And yet, evil is practised over ad over again to the detriment of so many. A fantastic poem that says so much with very few but selected words. Exceptional!
