The shutdown let us know!
everybody
living paycheck to paycheck
aint nobody
got no spare change!
that let us know
how the economy is going
that lets us know
we are doing kind of bad
don't that
make you feel so sad
The shut down let us know!
everybody
living paycheck to paycheck
and that aint living
you might be working
and still be poor
The shut down let us
know!
you might have a job
but poverty
may be knocking
upon your door!
