A very engaging story told in great detail! So the Shepherd got a double boon! Love the idyllic atmosphere you have created for the poem.....! The Shepherds and the sheep live in close communion with Nature and their life is simple and peaceful!

Shepherds are innocent beings spending all their lives for the sake of sheep

The poem has its own beauty. The innocence of a shepherd paid him a great prize. It reminds that everyone should be non-greedy and should possess what they should.
