The Shadow Door Poem by Jessica Elizondo

The Shadow Door

Rating: 5.0

There upon that room, lies the Shadow Door. Where all your fears and

horid dreams await you. there lies the Shadow Door where evil haunts

you. Beyond that door it tis truly a hell, where the walls are covered

with mistakes and regret. Tis said that anyone who enter through the

Shadow door will be lost forever and sealed with their own doom.

Many have came back, many have not, many have went in and many

have to be forgot. When you enter the room through the Shadow Door,

Your nightmares come alive as your surounded be screams and cry for

help! You want to get out, but Shadow Door closes behind you and a

laughter of a child yet of an evil creeps closer and closer, just so the

ery sound sets on your ear, but when you turn around, it disapears. The

walls are covered in blood and scream as the only lit candle in the

middle of the room flickers out, and the one light fickers on and off, and

is centered on your, if like a one man show. As it goes on and off, a

shadow apears closer and closer, you try to run but you can't because

the evil shadow is pulling you back, when it's in your face and your

screaming for mercy it whipers in your ear in a vioce that would make

your shiver for hours, 'Get....out, Get....out, Run, run before he comes

for you.' You scream, 'Who? ! Who is Coming? ! ? ! ' The Shadow

dissapears, Your still screaming and Chasing after it, 'Wait Come

Back! Help Me! ' Just then The light goes out and you hear foot steps,

some far, some very near, you try to run from the door! But your hit

from behind, and are knocked unconsious, and when you awkae you

are tied to a wooden stiff chair, and Your tied up, Your arms are so

tightly tied together, that they begin to be come raw as you try to wiggle

free. The Light comes back on and a million laughters fill the evil

room, but this time they are not laughter of children, but of a deeper

voice. Blood runs from your nose and hits your lips, the chair starts

rocking back and forth, back and forth, faster and faster, the Room

spins and the walls are ozzing with blood and screams with past

failures and pain. Yours will soon be added. There is only a slim

chance for you to escape, in fact there is only one person who was

lucky enough to get out, but barley alive, yours truly. You cry and

scream in agony. The room is still spinning, and your hands begin to

bleed, the laughter gets closer and closer! ! ! ! And A wind like felling

passes through your body, its tasting you....better run. Just then The

room stops and a window apears and a light shines into the corner,

you see a little girl with black hair and a dress, standing in it, you call

out to her, she doesn't answer....the ropes losen and you wiggle

yourself free. You slowly inch yourself over to her, she seems to be

crying. You say even louder, 'Little girl, are you ok? ....Little girl....' She

still doesn't answer........she begins to cry, Your walk over to her and lay

a hand on her shoulder, The light goes out, And then flickers back on.

She dissapears and The light fickers off then on again, you hear l

aughter, its coming from the middle on the room, its the same little girl.

She says to you, 'Would You like to come play? My Daddy and

Mommy will be back shorly im sure.' She says with a smile on her

white, pale like face. You say, 'Where did you come from? Do you

know how to get out? She looks at you, no more smiling, and you hear

laughter behind you, you look where the liitle girl was then look in back

of you, its her! She is at eye level now, she whispers in your ear, There

is no way out.' Then she laughs again. The lights go off and your hit

again, but this time when you wake up, your lying on a blood covered

floor, and screams are heard! You cover your ears but theres no

escaping it, the lights flicker out, one more time. No more screaming,

no more, blood, no more spinning, just you and the evil the fills the

room. You feel a sharp pain in your stomach but can't use your arms. I

give you pity, I hear one last scream, and say 'its a shame, you really

should think twice before you enter through the Shadow Door.'
