The Shadow By The Setting Sun Poem by Kesav Venkat Easwaran

The Shadow By The Setting Sun

Rating: 5.0

A shadow behind my back
I listen to the setting sun laugh

Who held this mirror opaque in front of my face?

The eyes won't lie-
For they are open to all truths-
Unless they opt out to close on their own accord

But these eyes are resting on my face!
The mirror can't be faulty
May be my vision isn't that bright
The way I thought it ought to be...

No blame on you, my dear sun!

Yes indeed. So well caught the shadowing age and shadowing sun in opacity of mirror. Thank-you.
