Yet again...a great poem my friend. I agree with it as well. Except for the world peace line...peace is far away. It probably hasn't been this far away since the Cold War.

Max, you do the mataphysical thing extremely well. Your intriguing idea of the changing of the world from 'the box' would be good enough; instead, you bring the personal into it. This completes the poem in ways I do not understand. Thanks for being brave enough to bring yourself and your dashed hopes into the poem. In doing that, you bring all of us who have those experiences, as a true poet should. Raynette
