I made wild oats with vegetable stock and sage and
Other sautéed veggies plus a Mediterranean spice and hot sauce
Healthy fare which is tasty and it so happens that
Not so long ago, I had discovered the origins of the phrase,
"sowing one's wild oats" which Stack Exchange: Etymoline.com says comes from "Wild oats,
"crop that one will regret sowing, " is first attested to 1560s,
In reference to the folly of sowing these instead of good grain;

The three varying personalities in me looks at tales from literature
If the sexaholic in me likes males
The shopaholic in me likes sales
And the workaholic in me likes to leave a blazing train of work;

Whom would the Sexaholic in me have liked, Captain Vronsky of

But the domesticated or the engineering me would have just sown her wild oats
And not run away with him
Leaving her son with the strict and unromantic husband
But the poor lady does get her comeuppance, a little too harsh perhaps;

The Shopaholic in me would have liked the Marquis of Vidal of
Georgette Heyer's Devil's Cub
And the hero who has planned a romantic escapade along with a trousseau
With a lady "who sobs prettily" but has designs on his fortune
And who would have decidedly lost her virtue,
Is instead joined by her older sister, Mary, "who sniffs sensibly"
And wanting to teach Vidal a lesson, shoots him,
But is very contrite and what must the Marquis
Who is impressed by her virtuous self
And does not take advantage of her for she is a straitlaced petticoat
Ends up falling in love with Mary;

The Workaholic in me would have liked the hero of Sophie James's Illicit Night
For he spends an illicit night with the beautiful heroine when she is 18 years old in France
And then when the lady is honourably established as London's ton of society with a daughter
But a husband who is an invalid,
He returns to England to look after his estates and fortune
And ends up falling in love with the heroine from his past
And after a lovers' star crossed path, they end up getting married.
