I have read alot into this poem.The way we live is the way we die. What we sow we reap.The line that intrigues me is where hope is mentioned, It can be cultivated and grown like you say. Shallow soil or shallow waters do not deliver. I wrote many years ago in my first collection of poems 'Droving': 'Dig not earth that's only inches deep, Nor sail in waters where the willows weep- Rocky ground no riches can possess, Shallow waters yield no more or less.' I think we might be both on the same wavelength. Loved your poem.M.M.

cultivate the soil plant the seeds seeds of good quality to have a good harvest... seeds must be planted well in a land wet and ploughed tillage should be properly manage to make the seeds grow eaisly... if you plant a seed plant it with care cover it with a warm soil water it with love...grace

Yes, all is stored up in tiny seeds, God's promises are true and so is the case with the human seeds. When the seeds sprout and grow into harvest, it's time to cultivate. A beautiful write, with deep meaning!

i love the parable on this..The parable of the Seed.....you shared to us a very fine piece.. full of lessons..i remember the little children I taught during the 'Flores de Mayo... I wished you have posted this last May...it will be a great poem for the children attending and listening the word of God.. really nice..helps us open our minds.. thanks for sharing.... 10++++ lovelots, maia
