The Seaweed - Laughing Seaweed Poem by Emmanuel George Cefai

The Seaweed - Laughing Seaweed

The seaweed faded in its morosity
Said to herself: Let laugh.
And she croaked a laugh.
But then almost simultaneous
She heard a vast sound. She recoiled.
For it was the immense heaven
Observing that laughed
And the laugh of the heaven was
Greater and louder than
The laugh of the seaweed.
